«Staring in the ocean»: conceptual principles of the work of Fr. M. Conrad «An Essay on the History of Ancient Philosophy»

Abstract: The main ideas, concepts and benchmarks of the work of H.F. N. Conrad «An Essay on the History of Ancient Philosophy» have been studied. The prerequisites for writing and publishing the essay have been determined. The approaches to the study of the problems of the history of philosophy, which were developed by the thinkers of the past centuries, as well as the thoughts of N. Conrad that are consonant with them have been illustrated.
